We may come home and put on slippers or go barefoot. The right shoes are imperative to getting the \u2018job\u2019 done, even fun requires the right pair of shoes.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"\"><span style=\"color: #ffff99;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Craig and his co-workers are walking a 40 plus miles in the desert a week, and having tough boots is a must. Almost everyone on the team has had to get new boots as the ones we are used to wearing every day are not tough enough to do the miles. Craig comes home and we check feet. Are there any blisters? Do the boots need oil? Are there cactus spines that will work through? Any of these things could cause a failure in Craig\u2019s ability to work?<\/span><\/p><p class=\"\"><span style=\"color: #ffff99;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0When I was in my twenties I started worshiping at church in bare feet. You may say \u2018how gross is that!?!\u2019 I know many people are self conscience of their feet, we may have smelly feet, warts or just ugly feet, but when God met Moses at the burning bush, He told him to take off his shoes as he was on Holy ground and again with Joshua at Jericho He said the same thing. Jesus washed the disciples\u2019 feet at the last supper.\u00a0 God wants to be our foot inspector. He wants to see how we walk. Are we walking in the pigsty of the world? Do we have blisters of unforegivness? Do we have thorns of sin poking in to our souls? \u00a0If our feet are stinky, God wants to wash them. I go barefoot to remind me that God wants to see my feet, as He is Holy and I need Him to clean my walk as I worship Him.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"\"><span style=\"color: #ffff99;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Some people may get offended by this blog! You may not be comfortable barefoot in church, but we all need to get comfortable being barefoot before the Lord so He can check our feet!<\/span><\/p><p class=\"\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; color: #ffffff;\"><strong>Exodus 3:1-4<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p class=\"\"><span style=\"color: #ffff99;\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><strong><em>3\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><em>Now Moses was tending the flock of\u00a0Jethro, \u00a0his father-in-law,\u00a0the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to\u00a0Horeb,\u00a0the mountain of God.\u00a0<strong><sup>2\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>And\u00a0the Angel of the\u00a0<\/em><em>Lord<\/em><em>\u00a0appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush\u00a0was\u00a0not consumed.\u00a0<strong><sup>3\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Then Moses said, \u201cI will now turn aside and see this\u00a0great sight, why the bush does not burn.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ffff99;\"><strong><em><sup>4\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><\/strong><em>So when the\u00a0<\/em><em>Lord<\/em><em>\u00a0saw that he turned aside to look, God called\u00a0to him from the midst of the bush and said, \u201cMoses, Moses!\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ffff99;\"><em>And he said, \u201cHere I am.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><p class=\"\"><span style=\"color: #ffff99;\"><strong><em><sup>5\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><\/strong><em>Then He said, \u201cDo not draw near this place.\u00a0Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand\u00a0is\u00a0holy ground.\u201d\u00a0<strong><sup>6\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Moreover He said, \u201cI am the God of your father\u2014the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.\u201d And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God..<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0As people we participate in many activities throughout the week that require different shoes, our job may require work boots, walking or dress shoes.
